Is Here I Am Orphan Ministries an adoption agency?

No, we are not an agency.  Among it's other ministries, HIA exists to raise awareness of the plight of orphans around the world and to connect loving families with children who are available for adoption.  We do not endorse any particular agencies, but for your convience, a list of some Christian adoption agencies for you to consider can be found in the Lighting the Way portion of the website.  We strongly encourage you to use only licensed agencies that have a good reputation and verifiable references.     

How can I talk to someone from the ministry who has personally adopted from a country I am considering?  Can I talk to someone who has used an agency on your references list?

Is Here I Am Orphan Ministries associated with a particular church or denomination?
