We would love to invite you to be a part of Here I Am Orphan Ministries!  Here are some suggestions on how you can get involved:

Attend Lighting the Way

• Pray about adoption for your own family. You can learn more about the process by attending one of the Lighting the Way workshops. Visit the website or call the office for more information.

Give Hope for a Future

• Consider giving Hope for a Future by hosting or encouraging others to host an orphan through the host program.
• Consider lending any bilingual skills you may have by volunteering as a translator during a host program.
• Consider helping provide meals for the caregivers who travel with the orphaned children coming in the host program.

Assist the Lambs Not Forgotten

• Talk to you Sunday School class or Bible study about having a garage sale or fundraiser and donating the money to HIAOM. The money can be designated to purchase supplies for the orphans we visit.
• Consider donating items to adoptive families or to Lambs Not Forgotten and other organizations which help orphans who have not yet been adopted.
• Even if you can't attend the next trip, you have seen firsthand the supplies that are gathered to take with us! Call or email the office for a list of supplies we need on future trips, and help us purchase these items.

Help Fund Project HOPE

• Consider sharing the financial burden with a family in the process of bringing their child home.
• Consider attending the next Project HOPE fundraiser to help bring home children whose families are struggling with the financial aspect of adoption.

Become a Donor

• Consider becoming a monthly or annual donor to HIAOM. Mission trips and adoptions are costly, and to continue the work of the ministry, financial donations are essential.
• Consider making a charitable donation to Here I Am Orphan Ministries on birthdays, during the holidays as alternative gift giving, and in memory or honor of loved ones.
• Use GoodSearch and GoodShop to support Here I Am Orphan Ministries.

Meet Families Who Have Adopted

• Consider participating in Forever Families Fellowship events to meet families who have adopted.
• Read the stories of families who have adopted at www.foreverfamilies.org.

Help to Share the Vision

• Ministry representative are available to visit your group and share what the Bible says about orphans and our Biblical responsibility for taking care of them.
• We can help raise orphan awareness and encourage participation within your group of ways everyone can help. Sharing the Vision can help answer the questions that the members of your group may have about the plight of the orphan.

Pray

• Pray for God to open the hearts of more Christian fathers and mothers to adoption.
• Pray for God's abundant blessings on the children and families bound for adoption.
• Pray especially for children who will never be adopted, that their Heavenly Father may show them mercy and kindness beyond their current circumstances.
