Robert Kitzman

Chairman

Robert Kitzman and his wife Kamala are the parents of 6 children and one son-in-law. They live in Brenham, Texas. Robert and Kamala were led to orphan ministry through adoption during a host program in the summer of 2003. They followed their calling and finalized the adoption of Carter and Christopher, both from Kazakhstan, on December 17, 2004.

Robert is gifted with leadership abilities and has always carried the burden of compassion. Robert and Kamala are members of Brenham’s First Baptist Church where they both serve as directors of an adult Sunday school class, and Robert is an active deacon in the church.

The need to minister to orphans is set on a very short time table. From the time the children are born to the time they “graduate” from the orphanage is usually about 16 years. During that time, someone has to step in to feed them spiritually and many times physically. With millions of orphan children waiting to be adopted, the church must be educated on this most urgent need to minister to orphans.
